Full Race Rules
In an effort to keep the races fair, since there is a prize offered, here's a common set of rules, subject to change as needed:
[b]Eligibility:[/b]
Racers must be Horde characters on the Llane realm, all level 19 or lower. All classes are eligible. Twinks are permitted, but mains are preferred. All racers are required to start in Ashenvale, touch all checkpoint officials, and jump to their deaths in Thousand Needles. This should be awesome.

[b]Details:[/b]
15 minutes before the start of the race, race officials, spectators, and racers will meet at the starting line, north of the Mor'Shan rampart. A Big Negatory starter official will invite all registered racers to a raid, which they must join. Racers will line up in Ashenvale, as close to the Barrens as possible. In raid chat, the race checkpoints will be named.
Shortly after 9:00pm (not at 9:00pm on the dot) the race starter will yell 'GO' in Ashenvale general chat. Two Big Negatory officials will follow the racers on horseback, video recordinging the race in its entirety. Spectators are welcome to follow, providing they stay apart from the racers.
As the race progresses, racers must physically 'touch' the checkpoint officials before continuing on. All three checkpoints must be touched by all racers. Finally, to finish the race, all racers must jump off the elevator walkways in the Southern Barrens. The first person to die from their fall is the winner. Times will be recorded and posted in this forum.

The race is expected to take between 15-30 minutes. All players who finish the race in 30 minutes or less will then win at least 1g. At the finish line, healing and resing will probably be provided, but can't be guaranteed.
If any racers saw another racer cheating at any time during the race, they need only take a screenshot of the offence. After the race has been won, there will be a 30 minute window to submit screenshots and descriptions of the cheating to bignegatoryrace@yahoo.com, where they will be reviewed and judged. Race results and awards will be presented at 10:00pm server time, on top of the bank in Ogrimmar. There will be much beer.
